With the exception of a small minority, players either hate him with every fiber of their being, or like me completely love him. And probably the most divisive character in the game. Or rather, it should have been played sooner, even if in segments. Even though there is another version of this song that places frequently in the events of Stormblood. But you wanna know the BIGGEST reason why Revolutions isn't requested much?Д«ecause it feels so disconnected from the rest of the game.

And when compared to Answers, Dragonsong or even Tommorrow Tommorrow? Blown out of the water easily. Then it's rushing to the end while attempting to emulate the pacing and issues it's had in the first 3/4s of the story. That feeling of things taking too long because we still got a whole ass 2nd act. Why? Let's just say for an epic theme, there isn't a whole lot of epicness going on most of the time. Before you know it, it gets comical thinking of the theme placing at many key moments of the story. Where as with Heavensward and Shadowbringer it was the complete opposite. The main theme which is motifed to no end was so, very repetitive, short and meatless, very little was done with the theme outside of what had already been done. Stormblood's story and music have its share of shortcomings. Reasons such as borking over 8 classes in the game, among other things. It is for reasons mostly excised by Shadowbringers, the expansion after Stormblood. Stormblood is easily Final Fantasy 14's worst expansion. I will say that 2nd hand I've heard from players who have seen oppressive regimes in their real lives, that the portrayal in game of people's willingness to accept oppression for the sake of survival really resonated with their real world experiences, which I think says a lot about the care the developers took in their portrayals. I think they could have done the idea justice if they had the budget they do now. The expansion itself is probably the most mixed as far as reception goes, thematically it's great, but it's suffered from pacing issues and probably just them being overly ambitious. But obviously being a video game we do rally them together and successfully rise up. The Stormblood expansion is at its heart about two peoples who have been living under imperial oppression for over a generation, and thematically focuses a lot on their downtroddenness and how many of the people are hesitant to join the resistance because they've experienced a failed rebellion and being crushed. You lot take good care of him or so help me god.All of those moods you mentioned are part of it. Original Sin is so confident and casual with its elemental rules that I assume every fantasy game (a genre I don't spend much time in) should work that way. I've not finished either Original Sin but parts have lodged in my brain. Oh, and the Def Ed is out on consoles today and all. They plan to release the editor 'in a few days' too. Larian do note that classic mods are not compatible with the Def Ed. Otherwise, he's a couple quid on Steam and GOG. If you want to finish a save or just plain play the original, it will still be available as an option.ДЄs for Sir Lora The Squirrel, if you bought Original Sin 2 before the launch of the Definitive Edition, you get him for free. Saves from the non-Definitive version are not compatible, so everyone will need to start fresh.

The patch notes do wander into spoiler territory when they start detailing which dialogue lines and options slipped into quests and things, but you'll know when to stop reading. I don't know why the interface was so ehhh the first time around but now it seems better. The new screens make more use of a screen's space, which seems very sensible.

Also, accompanying it is a DLC pack (free for current owners) adding a new companion: a squirrel who wears a larger rodent's skull as a helmet and rides a skeletal cat. It brings a new 'Story Mode' difficulty level, performance improvements, UI improvements from the inventory to dialogue windows, a new tutorial level, new bits of dialogue slipped into all sorts of quests and situations, some new fights, and oh so very many tweaks and balance changes.
